It's an old 50's joint bit very cozy and inviting to travelers who jave bugeted $58 for a room in ann arbor. A step above the motel 6 because of the downtown location.
If you just want a bed to crash on...look no further! Prime location & great prices.. I assume that this building was purchased, not built to be a hotel.. Because it has no elevator... Which makes me think it was previously something else.. You get more than what you pay for..
Staff is very nice, and have accommodated my family. There are some reviews saying this place is unsafe. Mine dude this is located in Ann arbor Michigan the safest city in the country. Compared to out west, where I've stayed at hotels in Albuquerque, Los Angeles and Phoenix, this place is super safe. It's just a bunch of homeless people that have transitional housing here
